No. Materials and workmanship matter, but the stone, damage, pattern and lighting still affect the result. A visible repair can be carefully executed. We explain those limits rather than promising every repair will disappear.

Suitable edge chips can often be rebuilt and shaped to the existing profile. Send the product details and photos showing the face, edge and any nearby crack so the team can assess your particular benchtop.

We aim to reduce the visual impact through colour matching and careful shaping. Pattern, translucency and sheen can remain different, so an invisible result is not guaranteed.

Some corners can be reconstructed where the remaining stone is sound. A larger fracture, loose section or unsupported edge may need another solution. Keep detached pieces safely and send photos before gluing anything.

Often they can be assessed for repair, but clearance, edge profile and any connected crack matter. Include a wider view of the opening and fitting, not only the missing piece.

Many straightforward chips can be addressed in one appointment. The team confirms the work window from the material, number of chips, access and repair complexity. Return-to-use instructions depend on the repair system.

Yes. Porcelain repairs remain visible and may not reproduce the original face pattern or sheen. An extra $100 + GST per chip applies above the relevant repair scope.

Some cracks are suitable for resin filling after the stone and support are assessed. The repair remains visible. Long cracks, movement or unstable sections may make replacement the more appropriate choice.

A seam can open because of movement, inadequate support, deteriorated adhesive or changes to nearby cabinets and appliances. Explain when it happened and whether previous repairs have failed.

Where suitable, old material can be prepared or removed and the joint refilled. The surrounding edges, gap and stability are assessed before the scope is confirmed.

A height difference needs assessment of alignment and support. It is not automatically fixed by replacing adhesive. Sanding engineered stone changes its factory sheen, so grinding is not presented as a universal solution.

A careful colour match can improve its appearance, but a joint remains a join between separate pieces. Existing gaps, veining and finish differences can still be visible.

Suitable natural stone may be refinished to improve scratching or etching. The material, depth and existing finish determine the scope. A larger section may need treatment to avoid leaving a noticeable boundary.

We do not promise factory repolishing after sanding. For suitable surface treatment, full-section gloss protection film may be proposed for consistency. An uncovered waterfall or adjoining section can still look different.

Not necessarily. Absorbed staining, etching, residue and heat damage require different assessments. Send the incident history and list products already applied before trying another treatment.

The goal and likely limitations are agreed for the actual surface. Deep damage, old repairs and material differences can remain visible. Replacement is discussed if the proposed treatment will not meet a reasonable outcome.

Gloss and honed are the supplied finish options. The named product, finish, covered sections and preparation should be stated in the accepted quotation.

The surface must be assessed first. Film does not stabilise a crack, repair a loose seam or rebuild missing stone. Necessary repair and preparation are separate parts of the scope.

The effect depends on the film, original finish, light and coverage boundaries. Discuss joins, edges and uncovered waterfalls before installation rather than assuming every reflection will remain identical.

Send the fitting model, required hole diameter and photos above and below the proposed position. Sink bowls, cabinet rails and fixing hardware must be considered before drilling.

Not unless explicitly included in the written scope. Arrange disconnection and connection with the appropriate licensed trades. The stone opening and the fitting installation are separate tasks.

Follow the specific curing, cleaning and loading instructions given at completion. A surface that can be touched may not yet be ready for normal washing or heavy use.

No. Local damage may be suitable for repair. Large missing areas, unsupported stone, long cracks or a major layout change can justify replacement advice through StoneCountertops.

Not necessarily. We assess whether the existing sink and opening are suitable for removal, preparation and reinstallation with suitable bonding and support. A damaged bowl, damaged stone or a change of sink model may require a different scope.

The standard service means removing and re-fitting your existing undermount sink. New sink supply or installing a different bowl is not included unless agreed in writing.

Standard removal, preparation and reinstallation of the existing sink starts from $990 + GST. Access, condition and additional support can affect the quote. New sink supply, plumbing, stone alterations and other repairs are separate unless agreed.
